This tour is a 3 week deep dive into some of the great cities of Europe that pack visual, historical and cultural experiences into one amazing journey. We will be exploring incredible museums and savoring amazing art, architecture and the history of 5 different nations.

WHAT MAKES THIS TOUR SO UNIQUE?

  • Get up close and personal with the European masters of art.

  • Experiential form of travel that will expand your artistic, historical and cultural perspective.

  • Tour in small groups with a minimum of 6, max size of 20.

  • We will be using the great train and metro systems of Europe. Train travel in Europe is affordable, direct and saves time. Trains take us to a centrally located part of the city and from there usually an easy metro ride to the hotel.

  • Great balance of group and free time.

  • Tour led by an experienced guide who is an experienced artist and educator.

  • Stay in hotels or hostels that are downtown and close to the major sites.

  • No tour up selling, hidden costs, or surprise "optional tours" - price is locked in once deposit is paid.

  • Smart, efficient tours designed to give you maximum travel thrills and experiences.

This is an “on the ground” tour where our small group won’t be shuttled around on a bus from one site to another. Instead our tours provide for you an intimate approach to the discovery of new insights and experiences, absorbing the sites, smells and taste of the best of Europe. Our small groups allow you full access to your guides, gleaning what you can from their experience as artists and educators. And along with our busy itineraries our tours give you a great deal of freedom and time to explore and experience on your own - often the best way to learn and grow.

WHAT ELSE?

  • There will be a great deal of walking on this trip so please note the estimated mileage in the itinerary. You will need to be able to happily (or maybe not so happily) carry/pull your bags to and from train to hotel, and often up the stairs as some hotels don’t have elevators.

  • Learn how to pack light and efficiently. All our tours require you to use one carry on bag + a daily bag. See the blog for more info.

  • You will need to be able to be on your feet for many hours at a time, in all kinds of weather.

  • Fine print: See our Tour Terms for important details regarding everything listed above. All sightseeing, accommodations and events are subject to change.
