Hopping on a train at Gare Du Nord in Paris

On our Art in Europe Grand Tour we will be using a Eurail Pass for all our travel between countries. Train travel in Europe is a wonderful way to travel between and in countries, affordable, efficient and very comfortable. Most trains take us directly into the heart of the city, where we can jump onto the metro or a short walk to our hotel.

Eurail passes provides a good price and excellent flexibility in determining the timing of each travel day. These passes afford a number of travel days during a month, and on those travel days you are allowed unlimited access to just about any train in the Eurail system. The cost of the Eurail pass is included in your trip price, as well as any reservations that need to be made as some of the busy lines require it (i.e. London and Paris).

Train travel is a great example of what I call on the ground travel throughout Europe. It affords you the chance to see and explore the amazing train stations of Europe, and once on relax comfortably as you watch the landscape go by. Train travel gives you time to read, eat, write, prep for the next part of your journey, or even better make new friends.
